Released August 2026
New: Gann Levels (Gold). The Square of 9 spiral for
any symbol's current price, plus something we haven't seen on
other platforms - for every genuine swing high/low a symbol
has actually had, it checks whether price genuinely reacted
near a level like this afterward, shown separately for the
stronger cardinal angles and the weaker ordinal ones, with the
same honest small-sample warning as Pattern Probability. A
matching free overlay on the Chart tab draws the same levels
directly on real candles.
New: Strategy Performance panel on the Chart tab.
Select a strategy and a collapsible panel appears below the
chart - in-sample and out-of-sample metrics side by side, plus
the full equity curve. It's the exact same walk-forward run
already computing your trade markers, finally showing what it
found. If the out-of-sample side looks good, that's the signal
to take it to Basket for the full multi-symbol test.
Half-written code can no longer disappear. Switch
indicators or strategies mid-edit and you're asked to save,
discard, or go back - your list selection reverts cleanly if
you back out, instead of silently losing what you were
writing.
Small polish: the Chart tab now always opens on the
most recent candles by default, even with a strategy selected
- it previously jumped back toward a symbol's very first trade
instead.

Released August 2026
Multi-broker support. RN TradeLab now connects to
Alpaca alongside Upstox - the biggest step yet beyond being an
NSE-only tool. Broker Download, Live Chart, and Live Signals
all recognize which broker a symbol actually needs and route
to it automatically, including a genuinely mixed NSE + US
portfolio scanning both at once.
New: US stocks and Crypto via Alpaca. Create a
universe with Market set to United States or Crypto, connect a
free Alpaca account (a paper account is enough), and download,
chart, and scan them exactly like any NSE universe. Crypto
trades 24/7 - no market hours to work around.
Live Chart is now free for everyone. Both Upstox and
Alpaca - no longer a Gold-only feature. Gold's focus going
forward is Pattern Probability and whatever ships next.
One Broker Settings hub. A single button lists every
connected broker - click a name to enter its own credentials,
with live connected/not-connected status for each.
Small polish: the Broker Download button now always
explains itself - correctly enabled or disabled based on
whichever broker your selected universe actually needs, with
an honest reason shown either way.

Released August 2026
New: Global market support. Create your own universe
by uploading a plain symbol list - any market, not just NSE.
Pick from common presets (US, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong,
Australia, Canada, India NSE/BSE) or set a custom ticker
suffix, and download via Yahoo Finance with the correct local
timezone and trading hours for that market.
New: Chart drawing tools. Horizontal/Vertical Lines,
Trend Lines, Fibonacci Retracements, Rectangles, and Text
notes - draw directly on any chart, with a live preview as you
place two-point tools. Right-click to delete one drawing or
every drawing of that type at once.
New: Sector lookup for any market. Fetch and cache
each symbol's sector from Yahoo Finance for whatever universe
you're working with - portfolio construction relies on
sectors, and this now works well beyond NSE.
Safer, smarter downloads. If a symbol already has
local data from a different source or universe, you're asked
once how to handle it - skip, fill in only new dates, or
overwrite - instead of two data sources silently blending
together. Broker downloads now always match whatever universe
is currently selected, automatically.
Small polish: Live Chart now pauses gracefully and
resumes on its own if a rate limit is ever hit, instead of
silently going quiet.

New: Pattern Probability (Gold). Pick a symbol, an
interval, and a candlestick pattern - see exactly how many
times it happened historically and what actually followed,
with sample size always shown up front. Rows built on too few
occurrences are flagged, never dressed up as more confident
than they are.
New: Candlestick pattern markers. Doji, Hammer,
Bullish/Bearish Engulfing, Shooting Star, Morning Star, Three
Black Crows and Three White Soldiers now show as colored flags
right on the chart - turn any of them on or off individually.
More portfolio metrics. Sortino ratio, CAGR, Calmar
ratio, average and largest win/loss, and longest win/loss
streaks - alongside everything already there.
Small polish: logging in now puts your cursor exactly
where it's needed - email or password, whichever isn't filled
in yet.

New: Instant parameter tuning. Right-click any chart for
"Edit Indicators" or "Edit Strategy" - try a different EMA
length or SuperTrend multiplier on the spot, no full
optimization run needed. Changes apply immediately for the
rest of your session.
New: Prev Session Levels. A ready-made indicator
showing yesterday's typical price, high and low, plus today's
own open - four reference lines that reset each session,
genuinely useful for intraday work.
New: Session markers. A subtle line now marks the end
of every trading session on the chart, so consecutive days are
easy to tell apart at a glance.
Improved: the Chart tab now opens showing the most
recent price action, not the oldest candles in your history.

RN TradeLab is now free. Full access, no card, no price
anywhere in the app. Just sign up and start using it.
New: Live Chart. Watch the current candle update every
second, straight from your broker, while the market is open -
see your strategy react to price in real time, not just in
backtests.
New: Fundamental Analysis. Type any symbol for a free
snapshot - valuation ratios, a revenue/profit trend chart, and
shareholding pattern, right inside the Knowledge Base tab.
New: Write your own indicators. Studies now has
Indicators alongside Strategies - write and save your own the
same way you already build strategies, then apply them straight
to a live chart. MACD, RSI, SuperTrend and more are built in,
each showing on its own clean panel.
Charts that actually fit your screen. Resize the window
or stack on more indicators - the chart reshapes with you,
never shrinks or clips.
Smarter currency display. Backtest and Portfolio now
correctly show Rs or $ depending on the data you're looking at.

Import your own CSV data. A new CSV Files tab lets you
bring your own data - your columns are auto-detected, and if
we're not confident, you get a quick confirm screen with a live
preview before anything is imported. A panel always shows what
was read from your file next to the expected format.
New Chart tab. Pick a symbol, timeframe and strategy and
watch the candlestick chart auto-refresh live - a fast, single-symbol
playground before committing to a full multi-symbol backtest.
Data Center. The old Download tab is now organised into
Broker, Yahoo Finance and CSV Files - three clean, focused
screens instead of one crowded page.
Configurable Train/Test split. Drag it from the classic
70/30 all the way to 100/0 and watch in-sample-only results
collapse the moment real out-of-sample data is judged - a
vivid, hands-on look at overfitting.
Abort a running backtest and see whatever completed,
instead of waiting it out or restarting the app.
Fixed: a startup crash affecting some users with
previously CSV-imported data.

New SuperTrend indicator and strategy. Drawn in two
colours on the chart - green while it supports price, red while
it resists it - and available as a ready-made "SuperTrend Flip"
strategy whose stop trails the indicator's own line.
Slippage and Commission. Optional, realistic trading-cost
assumptions you can set once and apply to every backtest and
optimization - see how a strategy holds up after real-world
friction, not just on paper.
One Settings window. Capital, trading costs, entry
filters and risk limits now live in a single Settings dialog
instead of scattered buttons.
Flexible exits. Choose Stoploss, Profit Target, Trailing
Stop and Time-based Exit independently - check as many as you
like, and whichever a trade reaches first is the one that closes
it. Applied consistently across every strategy.
Chart improvements: a Volume panel, hover over any
candle to see its OHLC/volume and every active indicator's
value, and click a trade in the trade list to jump the chart
straight to it.

Volume on the trade chart. A new Volume panel sits
beneath the candles, colour-matched to each candle's
direction.
Add any indicator to the chart, no code needed. A new
"+ Add indicator" picker lets you drop EMA, SMA, Bollinger Bands
or RSI onto the chart with your own period, to explore how it
would have looked - separate from whatever the strategy itself
trades on. RSI gets its own panel automatically.
Hover for details. Hover over any candle to see its
open/high/low/close, volume, and the value of every active
indicator at that exact point.
Jump straight to a trade. Click a row in the trade list
and the chart jumps right to it, instead of scrolling to find
it.
Fixed: a crash that could occur when opening the trade
chart from a fresh click.

Filter your live market view. Top Gainers/Losers, Sector
Heatmap and Gap & Momentum Movers now let you narrow to
Nifty 50, 100, 200, or any custom dataset you've built - instead
of always seeing your whole universe.
See your strategy's indicators on the chart. When you
open a strategy's trades on the candlestick chart, its
indicators (EMA, Bollinger Bands, VWAP) now appear
automatically - no setup needed.
Account improvements. Proper email validation, a
password reset option if you ever get locked out, and stronger
protection around your account.

Optimize tab. Tune any strategy's inputs with
Start/Stop/Increment ranges. Results rank on in-sample data with
the out-of-sample column beside them, so overfitting has
nowhere to hide.
